Understanding our blacklist system and the reasons why users or servers may be restricted from using Hinata.
Want to check if your server is blacklisted? Use the command:
blacklist guild check
This command can be used by anyone in their server
The blacklist system is designed to protect the integrity of Hinata and maintain a safe environment for all users. When a user or server is blacklisted, they are prevented from using the bot's services.
We are committed to ensuring Hinata is used responsibly and ethically. Our blacklist policy helps prevent abuse, protect communities, and maintain compliance with Discord's Terms of Service.

Our enforcement process follows these steps to ensure fair and consistent application:
Violations are detected through automated systems, user reports, or manual review. All reports are taken seriously and investigated thoroughly.
Our moderation team reviews evidence, including logs, reports, and context. We verify the severity and validity of the alleged violation.
Based on the investigation, we determine if blacklisting is warranted. Severity levels (moderate, high, severe) determine the type of action taken.
Users or server owners are notified through Discord when possible, with information about the violation and appeal process (if applicable).
The blacklist is applied, preventing access to bot services. All data related to the violation is securely logged for future reference.
We aim to review and respond to reports within 48-72 hours. Severe violations (illegal activity, CSAM) are prioritized and handled immediately.
Not all blacklists are appealable. The following violations are typically permanent:
For other violations, you may submit an appeal if you believe the blacklist was made in error or if you have taken corrective actions.
To appeal a blacklist, you must join our official Support Server and follow the instructions in the #appeals channel. Do not DM staff members directly.
When submitting your appeal, please include the following:
Our team will review your appeal within 5-7 business days. We will assess the evidence provided and make a final decision. Abusing the appeal system or providing false information will result in a permanent denial.
The decision made by our appeals team is final. Repeatedly submitting appeals for the same case after a final decision has been made may result in you being banned from our support server.
